Poway is two water situations in one city. Most of the city is on City of Poway municipal supply, but the rural eastern and northern edges include properties on private wells, and those are genuinely different problems requiring different equipment.

Getting that distinction right matters more in Poway than almost anywhere else we work, because a standard softener sized for city water will not resolve iron staining from a well.

Green Valley, Old Poway and the newer tracts

The established neighborhoods around Old Poway and Green Valley generally predate softener loops, so those installs mean cutting into the main line and routing a regeneration drain.

Newer developments including the Bridlewood area are more likely to have the loop already roughed into the garage, which makes the install faster and typically cheaper. Check the garage wall for two capped stubs near the main line entry.
